Our Story

In 1999, a young man named Eddie Siow decided to show his entrepreneurial spirit at the age of 28 after working for two years and set up IM Freight International at a Shophouse in Tanjong Pager, Singapore with a mere SGD1,000.

In 2000, I.M. Freight merged with SKK Logistics and I.M. Group was born.

The group headquartered in Singapore, have since grown from strength to strength with a strong footprint in South East Asia with offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Brunei. Also, I.M. Group has expanded its interests to the rest of the world with an extensive business network in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and The United States of America.

Connecting Companies to their Markets

With nine local entities in Singapore anchored by the company’s vast resources of logistics network and infrastructure, the group has gone on to provide additional value-added solutions and services to its existing customers as well as new ones who are looking to streamline their business.

With its core strategy to connect buyers and sellers through integrated digital platform and trade solutions while providing logistics support, the vision and business model have taken the group to new heights with inter-country projects from Malaysia and Japan.

In recent years, the company also started the business concept of I.M. Gateway, a 4PL concept that provides a complete market access platform designed to facilitate organizations in entering Singapore and the markets in Asia. The Gateway solution gives companies immediate access to markets by allowing companies to leverage on I.M.’s established and extensive infrastructure and networks beyond logistic services.

This platform has allowed many of I.M.’s existing customers small and medium enterprises, as well as multi-national corporations in the I.T., retail, manufacturing, engineering, and oil & gas industries, to benefit and further strengthen their stronghold in their respective markets.
